As you’ve probably figured out by now, my whole business model is pretty confusing. I have a number of products that I sell on Amazon using their FBA service. And then I have this website where I talk about all of my processes and lessons learned. Needless to say, there are several apps and tools that I couldn’t live without. I have a wife with a bun in the oven. And a full-time job. So I have to make the most of the little time I have to work on my private label / FBA business and this blog.
Following is a list of tools I use to get the job done. Disclaimer: These are affiliate links, and I do get a small commission if you purchase any of their services by clicking on them. But it doesn’t cost you a penny more, so what’s the big deal? Besides–I got kids to feed. (Or I’m about to). But I don’t recommend anything that I don’t use and believe in myself. And you can ABSOLUTELY do most of the things I’m doing for free. So don’t spend money on anything you can’t afford!
Bluehost is where I host all of my websites. I can tell you I have a TON of websites. And no, I’m not going to show you the rest of them. I use their cloud-based, shared hosting. Basically, for one monthly (or annual) fee, you can host as many domain names as you want. So if you’re like me and buy up any and every domain name the second you have your next “brilliant” idea, then you’ll always have a hosting service. And with their simple “One-Click WordPress Installation,” it’s as simple as…well, one click.
We all know how important keywords are for SEO and organic search rankings with Google. Well guess what? The same thing applies to Amazon. In fact, Amazon is number two in the world in search engine volume behind Google! The keywords that you use in your product descriptions and bullet points are extremely critical to helping potential customers find your products. If you’ve ever done your research by toggling between Google search and the Keyword Planner, you know how cumbersome that can get. I prefer to save time by using the best keyword research tool on the market: Long Tail Pro. It’s super-simple to copy and paste your own keywords and let LTP do all the heavy lifting. With just a couple of clicks you’ll have a long list of relevant keywords to include in your product listing!
